Water Spilled on Laptop

Not paying attention and not being super careful turned into a real problem.  The laptop was sitting on the desk.  The desktop computer monitor was going to be swapped out.  There was a big cup of water also on the desk.

Not remembering that the big cup of water was there and just attempting to unplug the monitor turned into one of those moments from the wide world of sports.

The cup must have been bumped.  The water flew threw the air just in the direction of the laptop.  Splat.  All over the laptop.  Running to grab a towel to try to get the water off the laptop as soon as possible didn't help.

What is the rule when it comes to water spilled on a laptop. Didn't watch the video before hand.  Hoped that the water was dried up and tried to turn it on.  Just now watched a video to learn that you don't want to turn on a laptop when water was spilled on it.

Now, just hoping that the laptop will recover at some point.  You have plenty of information on your computer systems.  You get used to using it everyday without too much of a problem.  Then you make a bonehead mistake and the use of the laptop is up in the air.

All just for trying to change a stupid monitor.  Now, the idea of having to put down money on getting a new laptop comes into the picture.  You just have that glimmer of hope that it will fire up in a few days.  Hoping for that windows 10 screensaver and the chance to log in again with everything being okay.

I really thought the cup was empty.  I was not playing it safe.  I tried to do something too fast without thinking it through.  Now, the spilled water on the laptop is a story to tell.  You never should have liquid around a laptop or computer device, but you just pushed your luck and bam.

Didn't think about backing up your computer files either.  The water in the laptop might take down some software programs that you had installed.  Trying to remember all the passwords.  Trying to remember all the files that were there.

Watch the spilling water on your laptop videos.  You might need to know this information.  You don't think that you will turn into Homer Simpson, but when you spill water on the laptop and you say dooope.  What were you thinking having water even close to the laptop?  Now, you just have to sit back and wait.  Should have backed up the laptop.  Getting a external hard drive for a backup or an online backup would have been a good idea.

Cheap Computer for Writing Articles in Home Business Writing Service

One of the things that can be done with an older computer is writing and typing. Even if you don't have the fastest computer in the world or the newest hot trending operating system, you can write articles.

Writing is about using your creativity and your typing skills to come up with new content.  Content is hot on the internet and advertising companies are looking for ways to get more sign ups generated with content.

The term is called native advertising.  People might be getting tired of all the banner ads.  Writing articles and using articles to sell is the idea behind native.

So you don't have the newest apple computer or the top of the line dell pc, but if you have a computer, writing articles or ebooks could still be on the table.

Coming up with articles for blogging could be your part time working from home opportunity.  Brainstorming new articles and keeping a big list of the latest trends and making sure to think about the old topics that don't go away ( evergreen ) could be a part of your online plans.

The expensive top of the line computing systems might not be in your budget to start with, but later on down the line, you might look into upgrading your writing systems.

Writing articles and blog posts is a long term income stream.  Learning about affiliate marketing programs and mailing lists might also be a good idea to pick up.  Thinking about articles and writing like little pebbles that are dropped into the water that can create waves down the line is the idea.

Even if you are picking up a cheap computer on craigslist or getting a refurbished computer on ebay for a really good price, start putting it to work in your business.

It might also be helpful to expand outside of doing just writing.  Learning computer coding might also be helpful.  Even some of the older operating systems might be able to handle some open source software programs.  Learning with youtube videos could be the plan or learning with regular physical books is also an outlet.

Starting writing with a cheap computer is still getting the ball rolling in the right direction.  Upgrading to better equipment later on could be in the future.

Big Data - Relational Databases and Unstructured Databases

Are you getting up to speed when it comes to big data?  The term seems like it is something out of this world, but the data is growing.  More computers, more connections, and devices talking to each other means that data is becoming even more important.

Getting your hands on information is important.  Learning about big data and the programs and languages that can make it happen means spending some time online reading or watching youtube videos.

Learning about python and mongodb are just two of the topics.  Python is a programming language.  Mongodb is a database program.  People know about database programs, but mongodb is not a relational database.  Mongodb is a nosql database.  Unstructured data is different animal.

Companies of all sizes have to be ready to deal with big data.  Learning about databases relational and nosql is just a good idea.  The change is happening fast.  Customers have mobile devices.  Computers are talking to other computers.  Soon more smart devices will be adding even more streams of data.

Going from relational databases to nosql databases is a jump.  Learning about mongodb databases, and collections is a little bit different from tables and rows in relational databases.  SQL is structured query language and it is an easy way of pulling information from databases.

Watching youtube videos on python, mongodb and the nosql movement is a good idea even if you are not trying to become a computer programmer or a database professional.  Getting a basic understanding might be helpful moving forward.

Evergreen Niches and Current Topics

Writing more content and going into more niches could be done from the home business.  Writing about the current topics and the evergreen topics is essential.

Writing about the current topics might bring in views for people looking for the latest information.  What is the hot information and trends that are happening right now?  There are always going to be new news options.  Something is happening every day.  Writing about current topics means that you never have a dry season when it comes to information to create.

Writing about the evergreen topics also means that there is no reason to sit at the computer with nothing to write about.  Evergreen topics are the ones that do not go out of style.  Can you think of some of the broad evergreen topics that keep on staying important year after year?  Think about making money, exercise, dating, more.  There are lots of evergreen topics to tackle.

What about blending them together?  Could you talk about current events and how they are meshed with the evergreen topics?  People do it all the time.  How has business changed over the years?  How has dating changed over the years?  How has exercise changed over the years?  There are plenty of directions to go when it comes to generating article topics.

Writing more content with evergreen topics and current topics might be the name of the game for your online marketing.
