Creating pdf documents and using doc sharing sites

Create pdf documents with your content.  Why go in this direction?  When you are using sites that you don't own, you don't have much control.

The article directories were good in the past for sharing your content.  Now, they are not looked at in the best light.  Some directories even junked some of the articles.  You want to make sure that your hard work in creating articles stays available.  

Create articles and save them as pdfs.  Upload them to document sharing sites.  Your documents could be simple ebooks that you give away on your sites for signing up to email lists.  The basic idea is to keep your docs online and available.
